Thinking positive can really work miracles. Initially, this kind of thought control can seem like an inner game that is hard to win, especially if you’ve been conditioned to react negatively to events and people around you. However, with awareness, you’ll be surprised at how, slowly but surely, your attitude, outlook and even outer circumstances start to change. 

Thought precedes action, so the right thoughts can lead to a chain of good actions. Destructive thoughts, alternatively, can act as poisoning agents in your life. I tend to get reactive when I’m travelling and things don’t go my way (cancelled flight, unexpected charges, bad seats, etc.). It has taken a lot of attention and deep breathes to help me realize that the initiation of this negativity was just making my travel days more difficult than they needed to be!
